Erik McCluskey
Owner & Lead Gunsmith
Erik is the founder and lead gunsmith at McCluskey Arms. The company started in January 2019 out of his garage in Springfield, Oregon with just a South Bend lathe and a mini mill.
Prior to starting his own professional gunsmithing company, Erik was the in-house gunsmith at Mazama Sporting Goods.
When he lived in Colorado, Erik worked for Stan Chen Customs—one of the most renown custom 1911 makers in the country.
Graduating Magna Cum Laude and first in his gunsmithing class, Erik earned his Certificate and Associate of Arts Degree in Gunsmithing from Trinidad State Junior College.
Neil
Cerakote Lead
As the lead Cerakote painter at McCluskey Arms, Neil is responsible for designing all custom paint jobs, camouflage patterns, stenciling, and Cerakote application.
Neil has nearly a decade of experience painting cars and firearms and has an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Painting.
Prior to working at The McCluskey Arms Company, Neil worked at Mazama Sporting Goods as a Retail Sales Associate.
Justin
Operations Manager
Justin manages the McCluskey Arms service schedule, dealer relationships, parts ordering, and sales.
With prior experience in firearms retail and sales at Mazama Sporting Goods, Justin brings a wealth of knowledge to The McCluskey Arms Company.
Justin is also responsible for all of the product photography as the owner of 541 Photography.
Nate
Gunsmith
Nate is a gunsmith at McCluskey Arms, specializing in repair gunsmithing.
Nate studied gunsmithing at Trinidad State Junior College.
Paige
Gunsmith & Cerakote Applicator
Paige is a gunsmith and Cerakote Certified applicator at McCluskey Arms. She is also currently an an apprentice stock maker at Nelson’s Custom Guns, striving to join the American Custom Gunmakers Guild.
She has apprenticed at DGS Arms and was a gunsmithing intern at Beretta. In addition, she has several years of experience working in firearms retail with sales positions at Tick Licker Firearms and Sportsman’s Warehouse.
Paige studied gunsmithing at Sonoran Desert Institute and received her Certificate of Firearms Technology, Gunsmithing in 2022.
